I’m of two minds as of late. One half of my brain is devoted to fall’s hard-rocking boots—over-the-knee, platform, lace-up!—while the other is still dreaming of spring’s sexiest sandals (it’s 80 degrees in New York today). For a myriad of reasons—budget, budget, budget—I’ve yet to get my hands on last season’s key shoes, the ones I frantically scribbled pictures of as they stomped down the spring runways. With Barneys’ huge designer sale going on right now (key styles are up to 70% off), my transition from summer to fall is that much harder.
