Fall’s over-the-knee boots have arrived. The sexy runway trend—spotted everywhere from Rodarte to Louis Vuitton—looks right for day and night, at work or out on the town (disclaimer: save LV’s hip-grazing pair for après-office). For this trend to work for me, there must be a substantial heel involved. The flat versions, shown at left, look terribly chic on those blessed with mile-long legs.
